At Shady Oak, we truly believe that it takes a village to raise children. Parents and teachers are important in a child’s life, but we know that the more loving adults that surround our children the richer their lives are.
This is why we take a holistic approach with our families. We teach children. We also connect parents. We welcome grandparents, aunts and uncles, and family friends. We support moms and dads in their quest for authentic parenting. And, sometimes we fill a gap for our families who are living away from relatives.
We know with our whole hearts that a child who has a “village” grows deeply rooted in soil that will nourish him or her for their whole life.
