Bridge Class

Age 5

This class gives children the gift of time. It is play-based with children attending morning Pre-K and then spending the afternoon in our Kindergarten Classroom. Morning curriculum includes language arts, math, social studies, science, and art. In the afternoon children participate in cooking, science and social studies, story times, art, and music.

Bridge students take part in at least three projects per year with the Kindergarteners.

Morning pupil/teacher ratio is 9:1. Afternoon ratio is 11:1.

Kindergarten Class

Ages 5-6

In the mornings, children receive instruction in math and language arts in large and small groups. They and practice the skills they need individually and in small groups. They have morning and lunchtime recess.

In the afternoons they continue with group lessons in science and social studies. In the afternoons, they also have art, music, and cooking experiences.
